Ambrosia Skylar James

Introduction
Ambrosia Skylar James was born in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England on August 8, 1989. Her mother was a stay at home parent to her and her older brother Edward, whilst her father was a banker in the next town over. Bolton was a farming town, at least it was what she remembers of it when she was a wee child, she's unsure of what it has become today as she hadn't been home in years.That being said, Ambrosia had grown up on a small farm that was bought by her father and tended to by her homemaker mother. What she didn't realize when she was little was how her mother had an incredibly difficult job to do and now in retrospect, holds more respect for her even more now. She had to pull double duty by keeping the farm functional while also having her and her and brother homeschooled. Which on some days was quite difficult due to how rambunctious her brother and her were.As mentioned above, Ambrosia was quite the rambunctious child however her love for riding horses sort of kept her at bay. In her free time (when she wasnt in her lessons or doing homework) she and her brother helped their mother tend to things that they were capable of doing, such as feeding and giving the animals water or picking up their waste, although the latter was more of her brothers job. She loved to go feed the chickens and collect their eggs. She also took care of the couple of horses they had.Ambrosia was quite skilled with the pencil as she often sketched and wrote stories about her animal friends. More often than not her mother would sometimes find her asleep in or near stacks of hay or in the chicken coop on long tiring days more than likely after she'd done her school work or drawing as she always had a pencil and paper with her.She found that she was good in archery, and begged her parents to let her take lessons which initially they declined thinking it was one of those phases. As she got a little older and still showed interest in archery, her parents ended up caving and paid for someone to come and give Ambrosia lessons.Once she was of age Ambrosia had joined the military and stayed in for at least six or seven years. The money she made from her stint there helped her parents out when they needed it as they were growing older, especially her mother after her father had died. She needed the support from her and her older brother who found work outside the city temporarily. Eventually Edward turned the farm over into something profitable for extra money to help. One thing to note is that he was always keen towards and had a sharp mind for being an entrepreneur.Eventually she chose to leave the country to explore better options since there wasn't much for her to do.

Meeting Darian:Ambrosia moved abroad to the US and lived in Las Vegas for some time, working as a waitress in the varying casinos to pay her bills and her extras. It was where she'd met Darian and they surprisingly hit things off from the start. She was oddly drawn in by his charm and entertaining personality as well as his handsome appearance. But the latter didn't matter much to her, she also didn't realize that he was also a vampire and that was kinda their thing to draw in victims. Willing victim to his charms, of course. The later lifestyle wasn't her choice.Anyways, while he was there in her city, they would often hang out whenever she was able to or he'd come pick her up after her shifts. He'd take her or show her places she never thought existed within the crazy busy city or surrounding areas so it was something special. Ambrosia definitely enjoyed every single moment of their time together and when he had to go back home, she felt a little sad.After Darian had gone back to New York, they didn't see one another for a while like a year or so, but the pair still communicated. And after about six or seven months of correspondence (mind you they weren't even dating yet) he eventually offered her a position at his place of employment in New York, but initially she declined it. She had created a life for herself in Las Vegas, besides they weren't dating or anything so why should she leave where she had put down roots for years? But after some thought and some more persuasion by Darien, Ambrosia eventually caved in and took him up on his offer.To her surprise when she arrived to her new state, Darian had set her up with an apartment of her own so she didn't have to search for one and almost immediately went to work for him; although it was roughly around a week and a half or so that she was fully integrated as one of his employees. As soon as she moved, they had developed a romantic relationship.How she became a vampire:Ambrosia started off in a basic position doing small tasks for him here and there around the office for months until he tested her capabilities in a simulation room. Impressing him, she was now bumped up to working for him out on the field and expeditiously worked herself up the ranks, much to Darian's pleasure. The types of jobs she was taking on became more dangerous however as well. By now they had been dating for around four or five years and she had figured out what he was and honestly (and surprisingly) it didn't bother her. So reluctantly Darian had sent her alone to a dangerous mission. That one job though had nearly killed her because she sustained several life threatening injuries, but she was able to reach a safe place before attempting to get ahold of Darian.Although it could be a gift or curse, Ambrosia doesn't remember much from that horrific night as she had been in and out of consciousness a few times fighting to stay alive. The only thing she recalls is the excruciating pain she was in during her change. To this day, Darian refuses to speak on the situation and shuts her down quickly when she questions him on the matter. It would be nice to have answers but she also realizes how much discomfort and pain it causes for him to even talk about it.Needless to say that night not only changed her but the extent of hers and Darian's relationship. Due to her nearly dying, their relationship had suddenly taken an immediate turn and bloomed into something more than what it was prior. Now that he had gifted her the gift of immortality, their bond only grew deeper and they both had also come to the realization that they loved one another more than they let themselves let on.
Abilities
So very few can say they can walk outside in the sunlight without burning, she is one of the few who can.Unlike when she was human and can just come into a persons home, she now cannot without being invited. She hates this but what can she do?If a mirror and such doesn't have silver in it she can be seen in it. Just as she can be seen in reflections like water and all that. Same with photos, since phones are aren't made with silver she can be seen in photos.Her senses are pretty keen and on point, she can hear and see ten times better than when she was human as well as sensing unnatural things.Once she was changed she needed less human sustenance, but does partake.Her feeding schedule is dependent on what she has to do.She moves without sound and can quickly move from place to place effortlessly.[Will add to this!]
